When uploading (or editing) a Photo or a File, there is an edit-box for the Description.  Sometimes it is convenient to use carriage-returns to separate lines, for better clarity.

But all those carriage-returns disappear when the Photo or File is viewed on the group's website.

And then Groups.io inserts its own carriage-returns at an arbitrary place (about 5/8 of the screen width).

Can Groups.io keep the carriage-returns that were typed by the uploader?

+1. When I update an agenda or something, I add:

UPDATE: ....

on a new line for clarity (sometimes there are more than one of these) and it is less clear to the reader if they are all smooshed together.

I support this request; being able to break up a piece of text - even if only 3 or 4 sentences - with line spaces can make an enormous improvement to its appearance and overall readability.

Same here. I've had formatting issues along these lines before, and I suspect
this is why some posts with text before and after pictures sometimes runs up
against the picture instead of the picture being a line or two below the text.
