From a members perspective, I would say pretty simple. Either have a 'free' membership, but only be able to be a member of groups that have room for you (because someone else is paying). Or pay a bit

Yes: Mark's proposed 'per member' charge was 55 cents per year - to pay that much by Stripe, you need to start with $1. I think 5 or 10 dollars (reasonable for an 'unlimited (or at least many) groups
