It was coded this way because I thought it'd be a 'shortcut' for moderators. If you have a pending member, you'd want to view it when going to the members page. If it causes too much confusion, I can

Hmm, I don't see that. The two blank spaces are at the bottom (since my preference is to view 100 entries at once and 99 is a multiple of 3). But frankly, I think that the Directory is a useless "feat

Looking at the Directory (as an Owner) there is a space in the second row that seems odd. The experts in the GMF have suggested I raise this here as it could be a bug. Any ideas anybody?

More accurately, banning an address keeps it from joining. You can ban addresses that are not current members. With the pull-down menu now gone, the filter list seems as good as anything. Unfortunatel

Yes it does make sense; while they remain "banned members" they are prevented from attempting to rejoin using the same email address. As they don't enter the calculation for charging their presence as

Banning a member removes them from the group according to the Owner's Manual so I don't think it makes sense to have a checkbox option for banned members as they should never appear on the member list
