Unsubscribe proposal
I like the idea, but put in a rule that a group Owner can't unsubscribe this way. If an Owner wants to unsubscribe, it should be an unmistakable request. JohnF

Close and hide?
My opinion: You don't need a Close/Hide/Unhide option, as you don't want to complicate the interface for rare situations, but you could make deleting a closed thread essentially the same as Hiding it,

It's looking great! You might want to be aware, though, that if a group has never had any messages at all, it lists the last message date as 12/31/69, the famous (time_t)(-1). Not a big deal. JohnF
