One other possibility is when the Send to Sender button is clicked, you could add one more prompt, "Would you like to have a copy emailed to yourself?" with buttons Yes, No, Cancel. The Cancel button

In general, I like the concept of allowing sign-in-via-email as proposed, and I think it will help reduce confusion. The main thing I can think of that could go wrong is if an email provider goes out

Mark, I noticed when reading a public group without being logged in, the post times are no longer shown at all. It should probably use the "minutes/days ago" form when this happens. Thanks, JohnF
