Is there a way for moderators to upload/store profile pictures in member's profiles?  I've looked and searched and can find nothing on the topic.  We have a group which includes some technically non-savvy members and would like to have the moderators be able to help them do this.  (It's better than waiting until their grandkids are around to help them.)

Wouldn't it be best if every user could make their own list-order? My priorities probably are different from someone else's

The features listed on the Pricing page are just topics, several of which are not self-explanatory, especially for new users thinking about creating a group.

Suggest that each feature have a link / pop up / tool tip that displays an explanation of the feature, benefits, why you would want that feature, etc...

Examples:
1- dont want 'file groups' mixed in with social
2- dont want near dead groups high in list
3- want major interests and high volume ones at top
4- owner/ mod privileges given priority
 etc.

This would (perhaps) cut down on clutter AND give more precise information.
Unfortunately some groups that haven't joined the 21st C yet persist in 'non attachment' mode as a form of security for the benefit of members.

group 1 files, then group 2, and so on?

With Thunderbird I'm sure I could filter or sort them by the To: address or the group subject tag. And then copy or move them into other folders group by group.

With other mbox readers that might depend on its capabilities; but I think it is likely that any full email client application (OE, Forte, and others) could do this as well.

I keep my messages separated also in different email folders and use
rules to route the group posts to their respective folders.

I agree with both solutions.

The first because I was surprised that the button directly launched the export -- I was expecting to see at least a confirmation page, but a page with checkboxes to select the primary group(s) and subgroup(s) would be even better.

I suspect that others may have been surprised as well, leading to more exports than were actually intended and downloaded.

The second because I think that having separate mbox files for each group (or subgroup) would be much more natural and manageable. When I keep messages in my email I do so in separate folders for each group. So I would want them separated that way even when exporting more than a single group at a time.

I suspect you're not getting much "love" for this because the Facebook integration isn't used all that much. But if I understand correctly, all it does is repost things from Facebook to the group as a new message.

It's also my understanding that all embedded images are rescaled to 640px in the long dimension. Image attachments can be rescaled using group settings (Admin->Settings->Max Size in Email).

What you're showing looks like it was cropped, not rescaled. Does the image continue to the right (and down) but you couldn't include it all in one screenshot? I also don't know what you mean by "images posted to or from a link."

Anyway, I suggest you check the same message online and report back what you find. If it's still too big, try playing with the existing photo settings and see if that remedies your problem. I personally have my group set up so all photos are rescaled to 1024px. This should be more than adequate for viewing online...or in email.

No love for my suggestion? :-(

My preference is set to infinite scroll. But when I ran a poll, only 20 respondents are visible on a page when I select see who voted. When I went to email those people who voted yes to my first proposal, the send email tab only lists those members whose names are on that page, rather than all who have voted from both pages.
I had to change my preferences to see 100 responses per page to get the email to go out correctly. While I can use that workaround, it's not going to be clear to my moderators or members that they will have to make the same adjustment. They just want to be served.

Is it possible to change the images size on the Facebook integration?

As it is now, I often find that images posted or from a link are huge. Example: this morning someone from my local astronomy club posted a link to an article on our group's facebook page. The article featured a photo of a young woman. When I opened the email from our group via the integration, all I could see was her eye because the image is so large (see attached image)!

Also because the image is so large and the font so small, the text posted is almost invisible.

Is it just me or does the Facebook integration need smaller images and a bigger font for text?
