Re: setting to moderate every thread a member starts
#suggestion
I actually really like Shal's idea of " an ability to let the member freely reply, but not start new topics without moderation." This would work really well for people who can reply OK within threads but who are incapable of creating a coherent subject line using hashtags correctly for their own threads.
Thanks. Helen

Mark You may well be right, a forum but one you can post to via emails. An option to send emails in the form of the digest option (which does not have user email addresses) would be marvellous. Chris

Re: Database export as CSV

The Comma "," is the standard delimiter although other delimiters can optionally be supported. see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values
"In computing, a comma-separated values (CSV) file is a delimited text file that uses a comma to separate values" I see no benefit in supporting others.

We've noticed another minor glitch on an Event. On an all day or multi-day event, the hover text on the Calendar includes the day after the final day in the When section.

AWConfigurable date and time format options
Shal wrote:
My question is whether DD.MM.YYYY would be an acceptable alternative to DD/MM/YYYY? I suggest using periods instead of slashes there because I've seen that usage in some documents from Europe (specifically German) and that would make the display of the date unambiguous no matter who is looking at it. DD.MM.YYYY ----- This one is perfect because the month-first-version is truly confusing for most Europeans. And periods are good although everybody would understand slashes as well. What I do not understand is: in messages I still see am and pm although I changed my settings to the 24 hour version, and as far as dates are concerned at the moment I still see June 23 and not 06/23. Wiki pages selectively accessible to non-members

I have a vague memory that this may already have been suggested: it would be very helpful if public access to wiki pages could be on an individual page basis, rather than the whole wiki or none.

confusion - the first number is always the day. Try to suggest it is the month and they don't understand - 'those damned Americans'. Dave,
Any chance of adding DD/MM/YYYY ...That would create an ambiguity with MM/DD/YYYY. Would something like DD.MM.YYYY be an acceptable alternative? While it is true that the individual member would know which way they set their own preference, I'm thinking of situations where people copy/paste or screenshot examples for posting in groups with international membership - or are posting to support. Re: Configurable date and time format options
I believe this third option would create confusion as to whether the first entry was the month or the day. To avoid this ambiguity I believe the ISO standard is by far the best way to go, with the existing MM/DD/YYYY retained for legacy purposes only.

I agree that it would be nice if site login was implemented as a popup of some kind that subsequently refreshed the page you are already on.

login refresh the page I am already on
Hi,
Same for joining a group. Instead of being led to another page during the joining procedure it would be nice if prospective members could stay on the page of the group they want to join. I was told some get confused especially if their English isn´t really sufficient to understand what´s going on.
