You can now search the member directory. As a group owner I can see all of my 984 members in the directory. However if I search for a name that I can clearly see on the screen (Adrian, for example) I get no results. Searching for Adam gives me one name when I have 3 members called Adam and one with the surname Adams. Does this search only look at those members who have made themselves visible on the directory for other members? If so, then as an owner, it doesn't help me at all. Andy

Nice improvement!
Is this feature supposed to ignore the email address field when doing a search?

I think the #cal-notice hashtag as a special notice might accomplish
what I want on both counts. I'll let you know how it works.

We use a weekly cal-summary and it lists the next 10 events. I must admit I haven't tried the bi-weekly or monthly to see if the numbers differ. Andy

Our group uses the calendar mostly for birthdays, anniversaries,
etc. I would like an option to have the notice for the calendar
sent out as an individual email to all members, not as part of a
digest. Is that possible already? I can't see anywhere and the
members I've asked who are on digest couldn't remember if it came
separately or not. I would also like it if there was a way to put
in that member's email specifically so they would get an email for
their birthday etc. We used to do this manually, with a cc: for
the member, but I like this automated calendar better, except for
those couple of suggestions.
Thank you. -- Lori Russell, CyberTOPS Kamloops BC Canada

When first subscribing to a group using hte "Join This Group" button on the group home page, a "Subscription Options" screen is presented with Individual/DIgest/Etc. options. However no matter what the user selects, after clicking "Save", the subscription is set to "Individual Message" delivery as shown in the regular Subscription page.
Also, on the Subscription page, those options are called "Email Delivery", not "Subscription Options", which is confusing. I discovered this when subscribing to beta.groups.io Attached are screen-shots showing what I see before and after clicking "Save" on the Subscription Options page. A couple more things (there's always at least one more thing isn't there?)... 1) When the last attachment is deleted from a message, it still displays a paperclip icon in the Messages/Topics view. This happens whether they are deleted manually or via the attachment purge job. 2) If an attachment is deleted from a message manually (either via editing the message or deleting an image from Emailed Photos), an audit trail entry is created and the message displays an Edited tag. Attachments deleted via the attachment purge job do not. These are just observations...I'm not proposing that they need to be acted upon. Thanks, Bruce

You were right. When figuring out if we had deleted enough attachments, we were not taking into account space used by files and photos. So we were deleting fewer attachments than we should have. I've fixed the bug and am currently doing a run. I have not yet figured out how often to run the process that deletes attachments. I'm thinking probably once a week, unless anyone has a reason it should be run more often. Thanks, Mark

Also, I'm going from most space used to least, so you'll be near the end of the list.I'm seeing two log entries now where it says "Attachments up to message #xxx were deleted to free up space via system" However, when I go to Admin>Upgrade, it still shows this group as 9% over quota (13% as attachments), and the file and photo upload buttons remain grayed out. I expected all attachments to be deleted to get me to 96%. So somethin' still ain't right. FYI, Bruce

After reading the posts at GMF about many yahoo email addresses suddenly bouncing, I checked my largest group. I have about 100 bouncing, so I did a search to see how many were yahoo. That's when it got weird.
It shows that there are 60 such addresses, displayed on 3 pages of 20 each. However, pages 1, 2, and 3 show identical information, i.e. the same names, email addresses, etc. The only difference it it says "1-20 of 60" on the first page, "21-40 of 60" on the second, and "41-60 of 60" on the third. Looking over the original bouncing list (before the search is applied) it does appear that there are around 60 yahoo addresses. It's just that they don't actually show up properly after the search. If I click on the member on the second or third page, it really does take me to the same member's record. Thanks, Su

I've seen some posts here about and replies (from Mark) that it was fixed by I have this problem when I post.
The fonts do not keep their size nor the text its alignment. The problem exists whether posted from email client (thunderbird) or group's UI.
