Re: Possible bug?
Mark,
However, I have also changed it so that when you click on theMaybe a tad off-topic, but... Yikes? That sounds like an open door to an exploit site. But I suppose if whatever is fetching the pages is careful with the content (isn't simply passing it to an HTML parser) there's less chance of a nasty surprise. Still, the whole concept that my reader would go out and access content from unknown sites without my express say-so would make me very nervous. This was my fear when I did the one click unsubscribe. I had done someAs I read Google's guidelines it seems that a confirmation click is acceptable. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#unsub -- Shal

I believe it is available when you create the link. There's a check box as I recall. I've set mine up to do same page rather than new, so I know it can be done.

Re: Changing Group Name
#bug
Hi Brenda, The welcome message is generated when you first create the group. You can then edit it at any time, by going into Settings and clicking on Member Notices. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't generate the welcome message when you create the group. I'd just have a default welcome message if the owner hasn't set one themselves. And that default would have the current group name. I'll put it on the todo list to change this, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to it. Thanks, Mark

Thanks Mark, I wasn’t rushing you just wanted to make sure since there had been a number of Instagram messages.
Again I say, you are going above and beyond to try to meet everyone’s needs, wants, would be nice to have items. I would have left the country by now. LOL

Hi all,

I forgot to mention something in this thread. The member isn't doing a thing to cause this unsubscription notification to be generated. They could just be participating when all of a sudden they receive a notification that they have been unsubscribed. It has just happened to another member. I appreciate the bug fix, but perhaps a clarification was in order. I did mention this to Support but not here. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Hi
You can send photos as attachments - someone in my group did yesterday.
There just isn’t a place to house them on the site, other than see them as attachments.

Mark,
BTW Please read post #71 in Owlperch. There is a problem with the embedded links and I don't know how to explain it better than that post, and I didn't think I should re-post it in here. Thanks, Brenda
