That would be handy, as the user's email address is the primary
identifier. It would save the extra effort of searching in the Members
list then clicking through to the member's profile.

Ok, for mods and owners, the directory search now also includes email addresses.

Thanks,

As Bruce has mentioned to me off-group, The memberlist search with its implied wildcard is at odds with searches in messages where a wildcard character is needed to avoid just whole word searches. The activity log search appears to be the same also. Whichever way they work, I think they should be consistent.

I don't think it should for non mods/owners.
Definitely not.

If you lock a topic, and the topic has a hashtag, and then you click on that hashtag anywhere, the topic appears in the hashtag search but the lock icon does not appear. I just went through re-locking a bunch of topics that I thought I'd already locked, and it turned out that I HAD already locked them. It's just that when looking for them by clicking on any hashtag they have, the locked icon had disappeared.

This should be fixed now.

moderated Add Numeric Type to Databases

Bob Morley

I would like to see a numeric type added to the data types supported in a database. Sorting in numeric order does not work if using a text data type. For example, text sorts numbers as 1, 10, 2, 3, 4 and so on.

This should include support for both integer and floating numbers. Sort must be a numeric sort.

Ditto- except to appear on days of the month, not dates.
First and Third Sunday for instance.
When I set up monthly repeats it defaults to the 'date' used and then applies it to a week day- not pretty.

Last day of every month is fairly easy.  Set up the event for the first day of the (following) month and repeat monthly, then set it to send a reminder 1 day before it occurs.  Also, don't send a notice when the event does occur.  That should do what you want unless I misunderstood something.

New SEARCH feature works great on my computer on both the DIRECTORY and the MEMBERS LIST.
However, on my android phone the MEMBERS LIST search works great but the SEARCH button does not appear on the DIRECTORY screen....is it supposed to, or is that not supported on android phones?

I would love to see something like this as well.  One of my groups has something that goes out on the last day of the month, and right now I'm having to send it manually.  The only way I can think to get it on the calendar is to set it up for each month individually, on that month's last day, then have it repeat on a yearly basis.  But that still leaves the problem of February.  It would be a great help to have a last-day-of-the-month option.

I have an event that is held on the last Tuesday of every month, but unfortunately, I cannot create a repeating event to cover the entire year because the options to repeat currently are on the number'd day of the month, or the same week of every month (ex: 4th Tuesday of the month).  Some months may have 4 weeks with that day of the week, while others may have 5.

Bonus points if you can easily exclude certain occurrences of the event during the event creation.  (Ex: Last Tuesday of the month for all months except June & December)

Visibility shouldn't matter for a group Owner/Moderator, but there still has to be some profile content. Specifically, if a subscriber has neither an established Display Name, nor a User Name, nor a group profile, you won't be able to find him via a Directory search...for the simple reason that there is nothing in his Directory entry by which to establish a match.

Yes, it is designed that way, since email addresses are not visible in the directory.
