Re: New profiles and member directory
What I meant was that no groups are shown. But that also now seems to be missing in profiles in general. Is this on purpose?
Very confused about what's happening.

Perhaps non-owners or non-mods are not supposed to have access to the directory? But in that case, I think they shouldn't have access to the button in the sidebar and then be told they can't see

Checked further, and turns out I'm not allowed access to the directory for any group I don't own, whether I'm moderated in the group or not.

The arrow works, but not clicking on a particular page. It just stays put.

Re: New profiles and member directory
I haven't checked it out on desktop yet (mobile only), so will chime in about design later.
On mobile it seems fine at first glance but I may have some ideas ;)

Re: New profiles and member directory
Issues so far:
1. BUG: paging through the directory doesn't work
2. BUG (?) profiles seem not to be shown - just the name.
3. SUGGESTION: could the directory be displayed in alphabetical order?

Re: New profiles and member directory
Confused. I just tested this by going into a group I don't own and clicking on "directory." I was taken back to the home page (with "directory" no longer highlighted) and told "you do not have access

Re: New profiles and member directory
And to clarify: we will use it in our subgroups but not in our parent group so the setting to enable or disable would ideally be per group so we can customize which groups get it.

Re: New profiles and member directory
Yes please!
And if it's not enabled in a group or if you need privileges to access it it shouldn't probably be listed in the menu. Like I can see directory in the beta menu but when I click on it it

Not right now. If that's something that's needed, it can be easily added.
Thanks,

Thank you! Can't wait to explore it.
Quick question: Is there a setting to disable the directory in groups where it's not needed?

New profiles and member directory
Hi All,
Apologies for the downtime just now, the upgrade process took much longer than I anticipated.
I just pushed the new profiles feature. Now you can have individual profiles for each

Re: New anti-spam measure
This is actually a very sensible default setting. Hind-sight being 20/20 and all, I actually wish something like this had been the default from the beginning. I used to subscribe to a 0 moderation

If you invite someone to a Restricted group and they accept, you do not have to approve their membership.

Re: New anti-spam measure
This is a very good solution, I had already implemented this on two of my lists this morning on a list that found a spam message from a new member.
The post was deleted and the spammer banned.

Just to clarify, NuM 1 is unmoderated after one approved
