p.s. How about instead making it so Topics view doesn't pop every time you re-enter groups.io (even if you haven't logged out), and instead making the system remember which view you were in last time?

I'm not sure it's worth your while to do that now if you're just going to throw that work away when you implement the tracking, especially if it's not simple. Although I'd love to have it now,

Actually, J, it really isn't the e-mail/web duality - it is the way that e-mail works and how groups.io tries to manage threading and that there's no effective way to "force" messages that should be
