Private Parent and Public Sub Group shows Sub Group as Private even though it is Public
I created a private parent group. I want only club members to be in the group and no messages to everyone unless a moderator. Easy enough.

Hi J, yes I could be the case. However, messages that I sent via email were coming through just fine once the site came back up. Because I sent some during the downtime and they all came through.

If they never visit the web interface I don't think it would matter what time zone is set for them there.
And when they do register or log-in on the website for the first time their timezone

I have in the past strongly advocated for the ISO 8601 date and time display standard. That is YYYY-MM-DDT23:59:59 . If the time is in UTC, a Z is added after the time without a space. This standard

an option to set the default time zone of a group for those who never visit
