I also find the 'sent from my iPhone' auto sig useful because it helps explain away autocorrect typos. In fact, many people have changed it to things like.'sent from my iPhone complete with random

I don't know if it's the same, because 'sent from my iPhone' is simply the default auto-sig. You see it in your draft and can delete. I've never bothered, but I know others who have changed it to

I think it should be treated as any other ad inserted by various programs (usually anti-virus or free email) and deleted. This has been brought up before:

All good comments that I mostly agree with.
Another thought to think: A group is 'owned' by the owner(s) in one sense, but really the group is 'owned' by all members of the group in another sense.

If the event is requesting an RSVP, then the following line appears in the notification that is sent out when the event is created:

Mark,
Personally I think there absolutely needs to be "a playbook" and that said playbook should be available for review by any member.
How one handles a given ToS

Some thoughts...
I think, generally, if something has been reported as being against ToS, information as to the reporter, or their report as such, should NOT be passed to a group owner/moderator -

Although this is not, of course, a democracy, I think informing the group owner is in keeping with the principle of the right to know your accuser. You could phrase the fact you're informing them of

Don't forget the "Report this message" and "Report this Photo" mechanism, with it's option to send the complaint to the group management or to Groups.io. That should have equal, or maybe sole,

Yes, I think so. And I think you should decide a priori that either all such messages will be forwarded or not, and say that it "will" be forwarded, not that it may. Because otherwise, how will you

Dealing with Terms of Service violations/other complaints
Hi All,
Thankfully, I can count on one hand the number of ToS violations/complaints that I've had to deal with in the last 3 years. I've dealt with them on an ad hoc basis. That said, I want to start

I'm glad you think it's better than the old search (I agree!). Work on new search stalled as I switched to working on the API, while I gathered feedback about new search. The API work is taking

Yep, this is easy to reproduce. If your link is the last text in your post, it won't get auto linked. I am looking for a solution. In the mean time, just make sure to hit a space or newline after you
