I don't believe this is a bug, nor should it be changed. Some groups allow posts by non-members. Anyone that follows the instructions won't have a problem. ;>)

Same bug in Unsubscribe confirmation email.
#bug
As one would expect from a well-organized developer, same bug in the
"Confirm Your Groups.io Unsubscribe Request" email.
The canned emails are very friendly and clear, BTW.
Thanks,

Our group used to have a Cats database and we eventually got rid of it. Our Database tab shows "no tables." Yet under Billing, we are still being dec'd by some amount of space for "Database Images."

Bill,
You can simulate downgrading a free group by selectively (depending on when the group was created) locking features down so folks cannot send attachments, upload files, etc, something that

If a group loses subgroups because of the downgrade, the subgroups are locked, not deleted. You can still see the archives, but it's all read-only.
Cheers,

Groups.io instead of Mailchimp
#misc
Has anyone tried using Groups.io instead of apps like Mailchimp? Obviously not for marketing, but maybe announcements only? Are there advantages to using this platform over the usual email apps?

Just a thought...
If a list is falling back to Free from Premium... and might not like it, they may take 30 days to really discuss it, and 30 to act.
So maybe Archive their SubGroups etc, while

Yeah, it came in handy for this; the Online Follow everywhere ability had been asked a few times before, so your post pushed it off the table and into the done basket. :D
