I agree that it would be nice if site login was implemented as a popup of some kind that subsequently refreshed the page you are already on.

We in the UK would never ever set dates to MM/DD/YYYY. The only other
option I see is YYYY-MM-DD, not DD-MM-YYYY. Any chance of adding
DD/MM/YYYY as I don't particularly like the YYYY-MM-DD

Exactly. Any topic they start would be a moderated topic. It would also force the member to be on moderation (if not already).

This should now be fixed.
You can edit the time and set it to any time you'd like. The drop down is just to make it easier to select typical times. Google Calendar behaves similarly.

Mouse pointer issues in Safari are a somewhat "known" problem. People have also reported difficulty clicking on the Edit button of hashtags.
