The only way to do that currently is to NOT allow non-member posts. They'd be rejected automatically. (BTW, ALL groups moderate messages from non-members if you have it set to allow them to

Curt I check my Spam folder many times per day and they are not going to it.

Sometime back, Mark tried using a spam filter for the site, but as with most others, it wasn't very accurate, giving false results for both positive and negative.

It looks like the request is for spam filtering from groups.io, so that obviously-spam messages would be auto-rejected, not requiring moderator action. Then if you want your group to allow messages

I previously posted in managers forum and here. Ours off by an hour in feed. Arizona time. Which does not observe daylight savings time.

To what end, exactly? I assume that you do not allow these messages to pass moderation (why would you?) so who would you want or expect to see that they had been marked as spam?

Interesting. For me, it only happens when I use "send message" from within a pending message. That's why I hadn't seen it often (or even before). It does not happen when I simply go to the member page
