That is user setting. Option you have in group settings is just default for user. But, user may change it. And if you change it in group it does not affect existing members, only new ones.

Although wrongly-named. An "action" is something that "acts on" the member, as do all the other functions in that dropdown. I'm probably going to lose this one but if so, it will grate on me ...

I'd be fine with that. I thought of suggesting it, but I couldn't think of a good answer for what it should do if you checked multiple members rows.

I would voice a mild objection to calling this an “action” because nothing is done TO the member. You’re just looking up information (all posts) about the member. But this is just a picky

If someone was never a group member in the first place, and you banned them by entering their email address in the Ban text field, the Banned date will be correct, because we created a new

As explained in GMF, the list of postings by that member is only one step away once you've opened the member's subscription page. Or two clicks if you go by way of the member's
