More likely to save storage space here on Groups.io. With "large" photos 1 GB on a Basic group can be gobbled up rather quickly.

Fully agree that the photo presentation is not up to par. It is not as good as Yahoo was. TVs are moving to 4K and 8K. Desktops and phones have been providing better and better resolution. Blurry

I do not want large attachments sent to my group and would like a way to set a limit so that any email with a large attachment bounces back to the sender with a notice thst the attachment is too

My suggestion for something like this, i.e. a useful and very large file that is of benefit to the whole group, is to place it in the Files (or Photos, depending on file type), then include the link

It is admittedly a problem I cause myself, and there is no draft
being saved do to the timing of the disconnect. (bummer)

Those are the preferred options. We sometimes hash over possible new features on GMF in an attempt to nail down what's needed and avoid clutter here, but starting here is also acceptable I believe.

Glenn; if an email user is sent an attachment that exceeds their mail provider's limit then the provider is liable to bounce it; the user will get no notification at all, and a group owner.moderator

Do they get a bounce notification? Or does that only go to adminsitrators? How would they even know the message exists, if it bounces?
And, as you do, if folks don't want large messages, they can set

You can do that into a CSV using the Download button at the top of the Members page, then manipulate as you want.
You should probably ask about things like this on GMF to make sure they don't exist
