Both accepting and rejecting by email are nearly instantaneous events: you click Reply or Forward and Send - there is no time spent in an edit session. Now you may have spent some time thinking

We do run a hot standby, which also serves some queries. I'm trying to decide next steps, should a problem reappear, and one possibility is to switch over to the hot standby. That wouldn't be

Something we do at work is to use database replication to form a chain of three database hosts: alpha-beta-gamma. If something goes wrong with the alpha host, we simply take it offline, promote

.... and we are back again.
Daily summaries did not go out for the past 3 hours because the database query to get summary subscriptions was erroring out with an out of memory error from the database

The database is misbehaving again. I need to restart the database machine to see if that fixes it. The site will be down for about 5-10 minutes, starting at 8:50am Pacific Time.

Previously, the fact that removal or banning wiped out the member's Notes in either the Past Members or the Banned list was only an inconvenience: all you had to do to access them was go to the other

Moderate every message. (I have that setting for one of my groups)

In a perfect world, I would love to have it there but able to be hidden - and that toggle be "sticky", so that the moderator (or table owner) could toggle it as needed, but the last choice would hold

.... and we're back. To be clear, I'm not aware of any actual corruption in the database, but we had a corruption warning on a query, and the recommendation was to restart the database.

I agree that this behavior is annoying, and retaining the existing query string upon page refresh doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to implement.
