I've enabled this for the beta group, so people can see how it behaves. So, any message you send to beta@groups.io, you should receive a copy as well.

Well, apparently not always. LOL I still have one Yahoo group that always sends me back a copy.
I vote yes, enable for all.

What Mark said - and blame my email client for sticking in the leading spaces. I'm not sure if I have a control for that, the leading spaces don't show in my compose window.

How did you get the '>' to stick in your message? They sure didn't in mine and I much prefer them in plain text. For users with diminishing eyesight those vertical gray bars may not show up

Not necessarily automatically. Sometimes wrap algorithms have unexpected results, which I'd like to be able to undo and re-do by hand.

FYI, Yahoo Groups does exactly what Groups.io does right now. If you use Gmail, for example, and send a message to a Y! Group, you will not receive a copy of that message back in your Gmail.
