Mark, Yes, but the message body in question is text/plain, not text/HTML, and must be treated differently. I don't know CSS or much beyond basic HTML, but surely there's a way to apply different

Ah, right. That's because the default behavior for HTML is to collapse multiple spaces. I just tested changing the CSS property 'white-space' to 'pre-wrap', which would give the appropriate behavior
