Mark B.,
Keep reading. I have again revised the COC and tried to take into consideration what you all are saying. Of course, Mark has the final say.

The problem is that conduct and content are oftentimes hand in hand with one another; the content of a post is interpreted by somebody as being disallowed conduct because of how it was

Brenda,
I totally agree with the overall feeling you express here, and I do feel really funny even responding negatively in any way to the proposed CoC, given how responsive and generally awesome

I am not in favor of a blanket/imposed Code of Conduct for Groups.io. It is obvious to me that the wording of any CoC would never be able to please everyone and would most likely cause more problems

You are correct, KR.
It was discussed in this group early on, and Joe was one of the people who was told that his adult groups were not allowed.
I'm assuming Mark means X-rated, or porn.

'adult content' is specifically mentioned there and is exactly what I was referring to when I posted, although I understand no one else would have known that.
