That was actually the main problem. I needed to specify a second sort field, otherwise Postgres would send back duplicates for people without names. I should have done this in the first place, as

Re: Glitch in Members
Duane,
This was a tricky one, involving two separate bugs. But I think I've got it sorted out now. Can you check your member list and see if it's been fixed?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: "Your groups"
You should only get the numbers for groups in which you're a moderator/owner and for which you have the correct privileges to act on whoever/whatever needs approval.

Hi Chris,
If the list owners want to entice you to join, they can write a longer (better?) description if the group appears in the directory.
You can, of course, see how active it is, how many

All,
I just enabled incoming encrypted email connections. This should be completely transparent and there should be no issues. But I've learned never to say never. So, if you or one of your members

Yeah, everyone seems to be defaulting to private groups which is annoying because I can't see the content in a group before I decide whether I want to join or not.

Shal and Duane, thank you for your input. I no longer see the '1' so, what Shal did fixed it. I'm a moderator on the test group and now wonder if there are degrees of moderator abilities. I know

I figured out that the number is the total number of people and/or messages awaiting approval. At that point I usually go to what is now named Your Subscriptions (https://groups.io/groups) and it

Donna,
It meant that there was one pending member. Since November. Oops, not sure why I was ignoring that.
It should go away now that I've approved the member.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but my Pegasus Mail client asks me if I want to
include the whole message or only the highlighted part in my reply, as I have

More details. I downloaded the csv files for both groups. I did a line by line comparison for sorting on User and Email. Sorting on Email, all matches up except for the fact that NC members aren't

Re: Posting bug?
Dano,
Like I mentioned in another thread, I just added a drop down when posting and replying on the site, letting you select plain text if you'd like.
Thanks,
Mark

I think at least allowing a group to be switched if the group owner is the only member is reasonable (and easy enough to check for). The other criteria gets a lot more complicated, programmatically.
