Ok, I understand now. You sent a message just using BCC, with no To or CC fields. Your email program doesn't insert a To header in that case. Other email programs, like Gmail, will add a To header

The issue was with what CSS we allow when displaying messages in the archive. We have to 'cook' any HTML messages before displaying them, to ensure that no malicious stuff is presented
