Those have been removed for quite some time now. I'm not sure how you are seeing that; I just tested it and it strips [ext] from the subject line as expected.

It may already be on your list Mark ... I have seen [ext] (and [EXT]) starting to appear in reply subject lines.

I've added 'Ré:' and 'Objet :' to the list of subject line prefixes that indicate replies. I've also added '[EXT]' to the list of prefixes that we ignore when figuring out whether a subject
