Members always defaults to Joined/Applied (unrestricted/restricted groups): newest - oldest
no matter which view (Display Name, Email, Delivery, or Joined/Applied) or sort order was last chosen.

Display date of update for Member Notices
Currently, the Member Notices (under Settings) are displayed with the date of creation, e.g. I've created a Welcome notice two years ago, and have updated it several times, but it is showing the date

Preserving the prior order within ties on the current sort field is sometimes a very handy feature. Not that ties are very likely in the Members list -- impossible by construction in the Email
