Not true.
I proposed that it work like the Time Zone, Time Display, and Date Display controls on the Default Sub Settings. Those correspond to Account (not Subscription) controls.

Well at least some good came out of this misbegotten thread! It turns out that the member who left yesterday due to “too many emails” was actually receiving the emails from a different group

I was the group owner that approved an email from a member that had a zip file attached. I do not know if the zip file was a virus because I did not open the zip file. The group is

I would like to know if a virus-infected file did get through the virus scanning. Someone recently contacted support about one such incident, but I haven't been able to verify it yet.

Mark, I didn't test message footers. From the web, you get only the option for Special Notices. Maybe they don't currently match?

Well I'm confused. This is the page you go to if you click the Unsubscribe button in message footers? It has /leave/ and /xyzzy in the URL?
