small sidenote: I've been told that whatever group we have here, it is NOT a "newsgroup". Newsgroups worked different technically.
I'm not educated enough to explain the difference though...

OT: groups.io has spoiled me
This morning I was driving along and my car’s ‘wiper fluid is low’ warning appeared on the dash, with the sound of a bell ringing. Fine, but then it dinged AGAIN and continued to ding about

Suggestion: Ability to Bulk Add a hashtag to a Search Results list
Currently, hashtags can be added to archived topics, which is useful, but cumbersome because it is done one-by-one. Having the ability to run a key word search and then select the entire results list

Re: Database Options
I think the show/hide column buttons should be at the top, IMHO.
If you want to see a slick online web database, have a look at Obvibase.

In the dropdown menu I see two options which sound similar to me:
Reply to Sender
Reply Only to Sender
What's the difference?
Thank you for all your work, Mark.

You might consider arranging the buttons in 3 rows, keeping all like functions in the same row.
Table > Edit, Export, Delete
