I would go a step further.
I think that having the possibility to address the invitee in his/her own language would reduce the risk of people marking the message as spam.

I have brought this up before, but only tangentially within other topics: I now routinely ban every member who leaves the group because it's the only way I can see who they were and their past

I can see what you are asking. One of our calendar reminders needs
sending each Wednesday except the second Wednesday (when we have a
different one) and I have had to set up 5 different reminders.

I have events that occur on the Nth weekday of the month. For instance: the last Monday of the month and the 2nd Friday of the month.
Also another that occurs the Wednesday preceding the 2nd Friday

I'm adding hashtags to older topics in my group and everytime I do -- i get bounced back out to the first page of messages ...It's an annoyance to keep track of where I was and then get back to that

If they clog up the list, wouldn't a "discard anything after two hyphens and a space"

I think this is a great feature to add, Mark. We used the Comments section in the membership application heavily for my lists, mainly based on my list demographic. We use it to help screen out list
