It converted it to a link. There's a rule about allowing some types of inline HTML. It may have thought that was what was happening. Or the part that tries to create links out of things that it thinks

I thought of another function for the Wiki that might be useful. In addition to moderation of modifications, allow the owner/moderator to Lock /Unlock each page if Subscribers have "view and edit"

It's only Gmail's web display that does this; if you download the
messages to your email client, you see everything as you would expect.

Where'd the lt...gt delimiters around the Message ID go in message #1437?
They are still there in the `text/plain; markup=markdown` part of the message body, but not in the `text/html`.

Yeah, I thought about that. But then I think about having to remind every member of my groups to go to wiki because they're used to the term links. Wiki just doesn't come to mind when you're wandering
