You won't be sent an invoice before you pay, but you should have received a reminder notice two weeks ago.

Open the page at https://groups.io/g/pebblecreekio/billing and look at the Payment tab. If you don't downgrade beforehand, the credit card of record will be automatically billed on the due date.

According to https://groups.io/g/Group_Help/topic/81707469#2445
There are no separate notifications to event organisers for initial of updated RSVP status
If I were an event organizer, I might want a daily report of initial RSVPs, or all current RSVPs with comments 24 hours before the event, for example. And anyone who switches from Will Attend to Not Sure or Will Not Attend, I would want to be notified immediately so I could work at filling their slot.

From where I'm standing, if you're a month late, you've already missed it.

p.s. Following Only also allows them, if they wish, to follow specific hashtags.

Why not suggest to your members that they use the "Following Only" setting (under Advanced Preferences), with "First Message Also" checked? That would guarantee that no matter what their email delivery method - digest, daily summary, or individual email - it would include the first message of every new topic, and the rest of the messages of any topic they then decide to "Follow" by clicking on "Follow This Topic."

We have many discussions on a variety of different topics, but not everyone is interested in every discussion. However, because the reasons our members might find a particular topic of interest are so varied, simply dividing topics by subgroup or hashtag would add to the complexity (and the administrative burden) but wouldn't make it much easier for people to filter their messages to access only the ones they were interested in.

As such, what our members have asked for is an option for weekly or monthly digests that list all the topics with new posts during that week or month so that they can review them to ensure they haven't missed anything of interest.

It would be even better if there was an option for the list of topics to be accompanied by information such as who started the thread and who took part in it and how many replies it attracted (both cumulatively and during the month).

Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

It's no different from "save without sending." Whether or not the ability would be implemented for non-mods, who could not save without sending, is a separate issue. I want the ability for mods. Someone else may want it for non-mods as well and I have no particular opinion on or feelings about that, as long as it's implemented for mods.

Doesn't that have a rather anomalous outcome? Members using the web UI would see the amended or additional attachment(s) while those reading by email would not because the correction / addition(s) would not be sent out to them; by definition, the lack of a further email would mean that email users would have no idea about the changes that had taken place.

Far better IMHO (and possibly quicker!) to reissue the message (including an apology if appropriate) with the corrected / additional material followed by the deletion of the original from the message archive.

You can delete an attachment in a message edit, but the paperclip goes away when you try to edit. So it's impossible, for example, to edit an attachment to a post (you can delete the original but can't add the new one). Would it be possible to add this ability? I just sent an important announcement to my group containing an attached file, and there was a typo in the file name, and I wanted to replace it. The only way I could do that was to send a reply containing the newly-named attachment. This was just one particular situation, but I'm sure there are also situations where you might want to edit a message by including additional attachements, without having to send a second message - where you'd want them all in the same archived message.

moderated Pending messages possible for a locked topic if attachments are moderated #bug

Hi Mark,

if a group is set to moderate attachments and someone replies to a locked topic with an attachment, it ends up on the pending message list rather than being rejected due to the topic being locked.

Bruce and Mark- I only deleted one of them after I got the error message.  I read Mark's email this morning about his updates so I immediately went back to the album and tried again - still the error 404 message.

I'm not sure how that ctrl F5 is supposed to work but after I read the message you sent, Bruce, I went back to the album and clicked on all 3 photos in the album and did the ctrl F5 on each one.  I still get the error 404 message only on that one photo.

I even came out of the album, went back in, clicked ctrl F5 without being "in" a photo and still get the error message.

Again, I don't see anything happening when I do the ctrl F5.  Generally I at least see a flicker as it refreshes itself.

Sincerely,

Rli@...

The other photos in the album worked but not that one.
Margo -- Did you recently delete one of them? Deleting a photo renumbers the remaining ones in the album, but the corresponding thumbnails are probably still saved in your browser cache. If you fail to to refresh the thumbnail page (ctrl-F5) before selecting another one this can happen.

Hope this helps,
Bruce
