Re: I CANNOT ACCESS GROUPS.IO
The site had to go out of reach
And some members were starting to screech. They lost their access Due to bad DNS But it wasn't too bad of a breach. -- J Messages are the sole opinion of the author, especially the fishy ones.

I have made this request before as well.
Not sure why subfolders are allowed for files, but not photos.

DNS issue, now fixed
#downtime
Hi All, It looks like a couple hours ago both our DNS servers just stopped working, for reasons I don't know yet. This caused problems accessing the site. The machines have been rebooted and access to the site should be back to normal. I'll be investigating why this happened (it's never happened before...) and figuring out some additional monitoring to check for this in the future. Thanks, Mark

Yes, DNS is bad this morning. DNS issues can take a few hours to fix as changes at the source can take a while to propagate to your locale. Larry -- Larry Marks

Subalbums in Photos
It would be nice to have the option to create subalbums in the photo section.

I can set it for 20, 50, or 100 but not Infinite Scroll. And, yes, I hit the Update Button.

Still not working. I've communicated with 2 people at Canny who say it's a configuration problem at groups.io.
I give up on Canny. Sounds like it just creates more hassle for you and groups.io members.

In groups that I host we recommend that users create “throwaway” gmail or yahoo addresses that don’t identify them and are used only for posting to the group.

Also add a Groups.io calendar API to the list.Looking at the various standards and "standards" in this area, it seems that what we should be wishing for is an implementation of CalDAV (WebDAV for calendars). I'd like the ability to be a "Move" or a "Copy".
We are actively involved in research so having same information in different places would be handy. With a copy, we can still keep the original in its archived form. I am currently using links and quotes as a workaround for this. Mo
