Are there any updates since this was posted? I'm very excited about the possibility of a mobile app (Android).

This being so you may find yourself processing Y!G transfers for the next couple of months instead of working on the app.

Yeah, starting yesterday there was a spike of group transfer requests, which was how I found out.

Yep, you're right. Thanks for catching that. It's been fixed.

It would be great if we could write math expressions in ASCIIMath or embedded TeX when using MarkDown or HTML, and they would be properly rendered.

I think that it would not be difficult to integrate the server-side MathJaxx in Groups.io:

I did not know which group to post this update to, so forgive
me if I have erred. But it is relevant to the Groups.io team
to prepare for an influx of new groups. A snippet below, full

Reminder: Linode downtime to patch a crash #downtime

When: Thursday, 17 October 2019, 2:00am to 4:00am, (GMT-07:00) America/Los Angeles

View Event

Description:

Our hosting provider, Linode, has to patch all the physical machines our service runs on. This downtime corresponds to the patching of our main database instance. The site will be down potentially for up to two hours, although I believe it will be much less than that.

This downtime starts at 9:00AM UTC.

Mail will be queued during the downtime and will be sent when we are back on-line. I will be sleepy the next day.

moderated Re: ability for members to easily see all their messages in a group

That's cumbersome. There's a reason we have a way to get to all of a member's messages without having to find an existing message of theirs first.
Chris did post about the actual feature. It's only the wording that could use some tweaking.

No need to change what is already available AND obvious.

Lol of course it’s up to Mark. Your verbiage is clearer for sure but also a bit awkward. I’d call it a toss-up.

Well that's up to Mark. To avoid any misunderstanding by subscribers it might be better if it read All Messages By Me On This Group.

Remember when Mark said not to debate the value of suggested features (especially if optional and they don’t affect you if you don’t use them)? Well, that applies to this. 😊

NuM= new members moderated??

If so, I don't see the point. What matters is that they don't abuse the list/group, not how often they send a message.

Maybe we should be asking Mark for a scripting capability. Or does that already exist in the premier levels?
