If it's a reply-to-sender-only group, then I think any incoming Reply-To header line should be honored. I don't think the concern that Reply-To could be used to mailbomb someone would arise much in a reply-to-sender-only group, but if it did, it should be easy for a group owner to track down who did it and deal with them appropriately. It's also possible to trick people into mass-emailing someone without using a header line at all.

Thank you, Mark. That was a bit of an unhappy surprise. Fortunately my group is small, so I can generate a file with the information without too much trouble.That will serve for the time being.
Interesting addendum here, I accessed a similar file in another group to which I belong and did not encounter the problem

I have encountered a new issue in my group (https://groups.io/g/SecondSaturdayAlteredBookGroup) when I go to the member address and phone book database I get an error.
" Groups.IO says
Geocode was not successful for the following reason:
OVER_QUERY_LIMIT"
It displays a partial map of the general region (South East) with indicators for the location of the addresses in the address book. But nothing on the page works and the information is not in table format

Not sure what this means or why it's happening. But it is new, so I am wondering if it has something to do with the new google Maps table view and table export
Any thoughts?

I agree with Nina!  Adding Json is fine for the few geeks among us but don't take away the CSV export! 
Also, please review the many requests for generating a download file in either CSV or XLSX format to make easy to grab and use the data.  Xls would be nice as that would include the data type for the columns.

One of my subgroups has a database of chorus members that lists their names, voice parts, addresses (with separate fields for street, city, ZIP - thankfully not affected by the new maps view, which I would not want to use in this case), and so on. I sometimes need to export that database to a spreadsheet, so exporting to CSV format is useful. I have no idea what to do with a JSON object (I don't even know what it is :-) ). Is it possible to put JSON content in a spreadsheet? If so, how? If not, can the export database function provide options for CSV or JSON output?

Sure, there are lots of kluges, one of which I’m using. The wiki kluge is really no good until we get individually-specified access to wiki pages (as I have also suggested here at some point).

It isn't always a good fit, but one can create a Database table which is Moderator-eyes only. I'd like to be able to do the same with a Wiki page for more free-form information.

But having it be present somewhere a moderator would expect to look for it, as I think you're proposing, would make it even more useful.

I guess that is what you could call it. As it is set now in order to
bring up a record in the database the wording has to be exact.

I call it partial-word matching. And I'd love to see it too.

Not just in Database, but everywhere. The only place in Groups.io that I know implements partial-word matching right now is the Members list. It is really needed in the Activity log and Messages as well.

3 years ago I didn't even know IO Groups existed. Wish I did. I now have 2 of my groups moved and in the process of 3 more getting moved and then I will do the last 2 of my groups.   I understand about using normal words. But many members when putting their groups in the database - write it as it is listed in groups IO like tagsforyou instead of Tags For You so it would be great if partial names would be picked up.   Well I am not going to sweat the small stuff.   At least I know with groups IO, messages go through to the group when they are sent!!!!!!   Ilene
