Sorry about that. That's the prefix for messages, but not the name of the group. My bad.

And I'll add here, because tags covers same issues, that Sort Order customisation be created as well.
Naming [convention] is hell when left to the masses. For both folders and documents. Thanks davew

Re: Photo Album Sort Option
Big call for everything but I'd support ordering and viewing ability be an up front change.
Then format/ move issues after that- a periodic project timeline perhaps. >> it seems to me that it is more or less inevitable that both Photos and Files sections will become more and more chaotic as time passes, wholeheartedly agree, as even on Y* space these things occurred and in many groups there is desperate need to 'organise' the chaos. Thanks davew

Southenders Admin
In my group, all members have to give their permission in writing when they join the group that we can publish their photo. We're a small group of 150 retired men. We take their photos at meetings.

I don't have any subgroups, so can't help you, but, likely, neither will anyone else in this group. Try taking it to GMF. If the consensus is that it's broken, report it at support. This group is mostly for requesting and discussing new features and improvements as the name (sort of) indicates.

Search in Sub groups not working?
Alexis
Hi,
It appears that the search function in sub groups is not working, even if I choose search in the this topic only. Or am I missing something? Alexis

#suggestion - Search feature in directory
#suggestion
Okay, I'm full of suggestions today. It would really be helpful if there was a "Search" feature in the directory. If you have a group with 500 people, that is a lot of scrolling to find someone with a name starting with a "Q".
Peace, Tom

The email addresses are already there. They can be harvested as they are, so this would not change that.

Transfer messages to sub groups
Alexis
Have looked through the help files but can find nothing on this.
Is there a way to move messages from the main group to a sub group, and if so how? And if possible can it be done by a filter on the header? All messages I want to transfer have a specific word in the Title/Header Thanks Alexis

Re: #suggestion - Make the email address in Member List a link
#suggestion
If I understand you correctly if the email link were direct link, I could easily spam you, or copy the address to the clipboard and copy a bunch of them and spam the whole entire group. Not a very good idea in my not-so-humble opinion and in my experience.

#suggestion - Eliminate the subgroup tab when no subgroups exist

I would like to suggest that when there are no subgroups, and only moderators and owners can create them, that the Subgroup tab be eliminated from the Members display.

The photos were already in an album in this group. Therefore had they not already given permission for their photo to be displayed ? KR

This is one item that will NOT be in accordance with the new GDPR
regulations to come into force in Europe later this week. Members photos are personal data and can only be displayed with their specific permission. Dave On 21 May 2018 at 17:14, Southenders Admin wrote: we took the members list from Members, and created a database, adding a http://davesergeant.com
