These are the privacy options for subgroups:
Listed in parent group, archives publicy viewable
Listed in parent group, archives viewable by parent group members
Listed in parent group, archives viewable by subgroup members only
Not listed in parent group, archives viewable by subgroup members only
Not listed in parent group, publicly viewable archives
If a subgroup is one of the 'listed' settings, it shows up in the Subgroups page.
Currently, if a subgroup is 'listed/publicly viewable' archives, anyone can visit the subgroup home page. For the other listed (and obviously unlisted) settings, however, a non-subscriber/logged out user is redirected to the parent group home page. This creates the scenario where you can see a subgroup in the Subgroups page, but clicking on it redirects you to the main group page.
I think this is a bug, and should be changed so that non-subscribers can view subgroup home pages that are set to one of the 'listed' settings.
Anyone have thoughts otherwise?
