Moderated Re: Outage report #downtime


Hi All,

There was a problem with the physical machine I migrated to the other night. This manifested in the site running slow last night for a couple of hours and again this afternoon. After consulting with Linode tech support, we decided the best thing to do was to move the instance to a different machine. Doing so required the site to be taken down; we were off-line from 2:30pm to 3:18pm. The site is back up and speedy once again.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
