Hi Mark,

yes, I'm still seeing the same issue in Build 29. I'll send you a video link off-list to show the issue.

Hi Mark,

Most of it seems to be OK. There's an issue returning to the wrong month after an edit and also after editing something other than the first occurrence of a repeating event. I've creating a short video showing the issues and I'll send you a link off-list for that.

Andy

This problem still exists.

I messed up with that build and did not include the fix. I've just pushed build 29 which does have that fix.
Yes, all good in Build 29.

Thanks

Android has to update manually by going to the Play store is there a place within the online groups that I could find out which version we are working with so I would know to go to the Google Play and update my beta

Voice recognition isn't perfect but it's not bad just lacks punctuation

New build #28 #release

Hi All,

New build 28 is being pushed out now. It contains a fix for back swipe/button behavior when returning to a page that has infinite scroll. This fixes the problem with returning to the Groups page with more than 20 groups.

Thanks,
Mark

In the calender if I edit an existing event the following is missing but ok from the web;
The event name,
The date and time, no date but default time of 10.30
The reminders and missing.

This should be fixed now.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Andy,

I wasn't able to reproduce the bug exactly, but I found an issue and fixed it. Can you try this again?

Thanks,
Mark

That's better. After 6 lines of input though, the 7th line ends up being hidden behind the page footer and you cannot scroll to see it.

I'm unable to reproduce this. If you're still seeing it, can you send a screenshot?

Thanks,

Hi Mark,

after a new chat has been created, there seems to be no way of adding new comments to it.  It was reported on Group_Help and then on Beta, and a workaround was to resize the display until the input field was visible but that's not an option in the app.  (Note: on the web UI, the input field is always just off the bottom of the page so you have to scroll down to see it).

Calendar event Back button breaks calendar functionality #bug #Android

Andy Wedge

Hi Mark,

if I use the Back button when editing an existing calendar event (or creating a new event) it results in:

  • Existing calendar events are not displayed
  • The left & right arrows for calendar navigation do nothing
  • The 'today' button does nothing
  • The calendar format display button (Month/Week/List etc.) does nothing

Andy

The first attempt to edit an event seems to show the details OK but after, I'm seeing what you describe.

It would be good to have an indication or idea but I'm enjoying the exclusivity at the moment - lol
I'd also like to know once a stable version is released would you (Mark) like us to continue beta testing newer versions. Something I'd personally be happy to oblige.

In the short term just press the group's.io logo and they appear.

When is production release? #misc

I understand the apps are still in beta and testing mode to flush out the bugs. Is there any estimate when the Android and iOS app will be released to production? Some of my group members are asking because they would like to switch from web to the app.
